How to email WhatsApp Conversation

• Open your WhatsApp app.
• Look for the person or group chat you want to email, tap and hold, a pop up with options will appear as shown in the picture.
• Next, tap on “Email chat”. It will give an option whether you want attach media file or not. Select whichever you want.
• This will open email with with your WhatsApp chats in ‘txt’ attached file. You just have to enter the email address of the person whom you want to send the conversation to.

Recommended: By default the chats is in ‘txt’ file format, it’s recommended to open this ‘txt’ file in Microsoft Office Word for better indentation of chats.

Method to email WhatsApp chats in iPhone

If you are looking to email the WhatsApp chat history  in iPhone then follow the below steps:

• Open WhatsApp App.
• Next, open the chat which you want to email.
• Tap on name of person at top to open contact info of that person.

• Under Contact Info, you will see Export Chat option, tap on that.
• A pop up will appear to select whether you want to attach media files also or not.
• Next, you can type in the email address of the person whom you want to send the conversation.

Steps to email WhatsApp Chat history in Windows

• Open WhatsApp app.
• Open the chat you want to email.
• Tap on More (three dots) this will open user info.
• In info screen again tap on More (three dots) and select email chat history.

Note: In Windows you might not be able to send your whole conversation if it is too large in size because of the Windows mail size restriction.
